How does an community interact with social media?

Being a part of an community helps local organisations get their events or activities out on social media in 2 ways:

1. Directly
You can use our free web tool to connect your Facebook page and/or Twitter account, and post all your events, activities or announcements from directly to Facebook or Twitter.

2. Indirectly
Even if you don't have a Facebook or Twitter account for your organisation, by being part of a community on, it's likely that your events and activities will be shared on community-level Facebook groups and Twitter accounts. This is so easy to do, that the local administrators for many communities will re-post content from to social media, or tell the administrators of large local social media accounts about the content, so they can share it. These community-level social media accounts often have a lot more followers than an individual organisation account, so the likelihood is that you're getting much more visibility without any extra effort.
