If you are the owner of an organisation (the 'account owner'), and you want to hand over the account ownership to someone else, this is the process to follow:
- First, make sure that the person you want to transfer your account ownership to is already a team member. If they are not, make them a team member first. You can see how to do this here. Your team member must have accepted the invitation to become a team member before you can make them the account owner.
- Second, log in and go to 'Settings' (denoted by a spanner symbol in the top right corner) where you can find the 'Account' tab. You should see your email address under 'Account Owner'. Click on 'change owner' and you should see the names of your team members drop down. Select the new owner, and click 'Change'. The change in account ownership will happen immediately, and the relevant team member will get all the ownership rights immediately.
If you are not the account owner for the organisation, but the previous account owner has left and you have no way of asking them to take the actions above, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we should be able to help you.
